Comparing Various Instructional Methods
One of the primary tasks of an instructional designer, or, for that matter any professional trainer, is matching up the methods of instructions with the goals and purposes of the training. Each instructional method has strengths and weaknesses as applied to particular tasks, and there's no instructional method that is applicable to all goals. Neither should we throw out instructional methods -- even lecture, entirely.
